Introduction
Welcome to "Clyde Soccer" "Community Football Development" website (112 Pages) Our community courses and community football teams are run for boys & girls aged 3-15 of all skill levels, who are coached in a fun and safe environment while learning a wide range of new skills. Our main emphasis is on fun & enjoyment,so please have a look at what we offer and please contact us if any of our courses or teams interest you. The "Clyde Soccer " coaches & volunteers all hold the appropriate S.F.A. certificates and all undergo "ENHANCED DISCLOSURE" (highest disclosure level) security checks by "The Volunteer Centre" to check their suitability in working with children, and this is done every year.
From time to time "Clyde Soccer" and the local press may take photographs at our coaching courses or of our community teams, for use in our publications or the local media. If you do have any objection to your child being photographed, please let us know.

Clyde Soccer Glasgow under 14's have won the Scottish Cup after winning 2-0 against a very good and well organised Albion Boys Club from Aberdeen. The goals were scored by James Martin & Jonathon Dey with Jordan Moffat voted " Man of The Match" by the Lord Provost, This is the first time in the cups long history that a team from the West Of Scotland has won the under 14s Scottish Cup
The team were well prepared by coaches Jim Simmonette, Jim Martin, Graham Marjoribanks & Graham Diamond. The team met up at 12 pm on Saturday at the Hilton hotel in Bellshill and stayed the night and looked very impressive in their Slaters suits (photo below) going to the game, After the match the team and parents ,sponsors, guests returned to the after match party at the Burnside Hotel. Clyde Soccer Glasgow would like to thank Willie Haughey O.B.E. for all his help and support and also a special mention the the 14s coaches and match day assistants Gerry Bronsky and Albert Moffat.

Club Set-Up Season 2008-2009

Next season 2008-2009 the club will be known as "Clyde Soccer Glasgow" and will be split into five sections
-
Childrens Section
-
Youth Section
-
Girls Section
-
Ladies Section
-
Community Section
As you can see from the above "Clyde Soccer Glasgow" will control all sections of the club and the Management Committee of the club will not change. Each section will have a line manager reporting to the head coach.
We are restructuring the club as now we run 15 teams which are both boys and girls/ladies teams and have over 200 children a week attending a Community Course.
We have now made links with Glasgow City Councils "Culture & Sport" football development department and our players will now attend their player development centres.
We hope that the club will continue to grow and with the players & parents support we will.

Next Season Fees
Next season all monthly fees will be collected by standing order and there will be no exceptions to this. No coach from next season will collect fees as this is taking up far too much of the coaches time. Your standing order mandates will be given out in the next few weeks to give to your bank, and the first payment will be 1st August.
Only players who have completed them will return to training on :
July 16th. Broadwood Stadium 6pm-8pm
Training details will be given out with the mandates in a week
